These pieces feature one chaton cut, prong set, clear rhinestone in the center of five, prong set, clear, pear shaped rhinestones, set in silver tone metal, on each of these collectible pieces of art. They are signed Coro and measure approx. .75" L x .75"W. They have screw backs which are in perfect condition. There is flaking on the finish on the backside of the rhinestones which isn't noticeable. These pieces are in very good vintage condition. Coro company (also known as Gem-CRAFT) started in 1901 in the New York and became one of the most successful costume jewelry makers of the twentieth century. They also used many other names including Corocraft, Coro craft, Vendome and Jewelcraft. Up to 1955 they patented their designs, after they copyrighted them and some of their jewelry was signed and some not. There were factories in the US and also Sussex, UK. Vintage pieces like these from Craft are rare and exquisite.
